Is Streamlined a carrier?

No. We're a licensed agency. Through our partnership with Alera Group we access essentially every major employee-benefits and P&C carrier in the U.S. — so we can shop the whole market on your behalf, every renewal.

Do we have to switch payroll to use you for benefits?

No. You can run benefits with us today even if your payroll lives elsewhere. That said, most clients consolidate within a year — the integration is where the real savings show up.

How are you paid?

On the benefits side, carrier commissions — the same way every licensed agency is compensated. Fully disclosed. On the payroll side, a per-employee-per-month fee. No surprise up-charges.
